I have known SJ for as long as I can remember. We knew each other from the 2012 North of England art and design era. They were in Manchester and I was in Leeds (Leeds Leeds). I have always loved their work; graphic and artistic without being graphic artist.
The "boy racer" subculture we were into as kids was all toxic masculinity. With 'Teen Love' SJ is trying to reclaim/recontextualise it through a queer lens. Google 'Max Power Magazine' and you'll see.
