YTYT sweetness <3

L: How did YTYT start, where did the name come from?
M: I would find old screens that people had thrown away and I’d take them and use acrylic paints and my school card to print onto my own clothes. I would paint and draw a lot in high school so playing around w printing in my room was great. Years later I wanted to make a lil insta page dedicated to my drawings and random photographs and just used the name “You Took Your Time” from King Krule and Mount kimbie’s collaboration. Posted a printed tshrrt and then it kinda went on from there..


 L: Had you always been interested in screen printing and are you interested in other printing methods?
M: Yeayea.

L: Have you got any exciting things you are working on atm/ collaborations, exhibitions etc?
M: Yes I do.
Collaboration with Apathy store Japan. 
Upcoming collaboration with “Black Fish” local Meanjin designer.
Upcoming photoshoots working w @zuzulinaq, @maxfranny and @violentsublime.
Over in HCMC & Hanoi, Vietnam one of my closest friend’s Sao is in production of printing & making YouTookYourTime clothing being stocked in shops over there & online.
